The reason being is because Marilyn Manson's real name is Brian Hugh Warner.
He got Marilyn Manson from 'Marilyn' Monroe and Charles 'Manson".

In fact the name Marilyn Manson wasn't even supposed to be the alter ego of Brian, it was the name of the band. People just started calling him Marilyn Manson so it stuck.
