(not east L.A. ) snoop claims "eastside" because the rolling 20 crips territory lies on the east side of the 110 freeway in Los angeles county which is the border of east and west gang territories. Actually the territory for the Rollin 20 Crips is the Eastside of Long Beach,which is the East Side of the 710,not the 110.There are also Eastside Longos and BP's,two latino gangs,but because of the massive amount of crip gangs, the lation gangs are rarely a factor.

And he actually was a gang member,he went to Long Beach Poly, but never graduated due to his girlfriend getting preagnant and rap/gang activity.
