What difference does it make? If he is, you won't be able to "go out" with him. If he isn't, you still won't be able to go out with him.
He's a performer. His sexual orientation doesn't matter to rational people. It also wouldn't matter if he had hair plugs, a prosthetic leg or had undergone gender assignment surgery. Do you know if any of the above are true or false? The fact is, it doesn' matter. He is entitled to a private life and as such should be granted a few secrets. But a secret is when others don't know.
