Depends what you mean by "early pregnancy" since it doesn't start to shape until after the first trimester. Yes you can lose it in early pregnancy, or parts of it, and see your doctor if that is what you think. It regenerates though if you lose it early. If it was the mucus plug it should have been some brown or maybe even red in it. Sometimes the normal discharge (the milky white stuff) can hang up in the vaginal area and when it comes out it can be thick and clumpy.
HI, I am a mother of 2 3/4 meaning I already have two girls and am 35 weeks pregnant with my third :) As to your question....I ahev lost my plug with all three and never had alot of blood with it...The only time I had any blood was 5 minutes before i went into labor with my first child...I would say to kep an eye out and see if you start to bleed again if so i would recogmend getting it checked out...sometimes doctors don't take you all that seriously :) if not already pack your bags your in the last stages :) Good Luck,Rachel
Part of my mucuous plug began coming out when I was seven months along and continued to come out until right before I had my daughter. I also had braxton hicks contractions. My doctor told me as long as the plug was not bright red blood tinged and the contractions were not coming at regular intervals it was ok. I delivered a healthy baby girl at 39 weeks. However, every woman is different and you may want to consult with your dr. just to be on the safe side.
Well in some cases but it would be best to talk to your doctor about it.
Was it kinda bloody too. Are you sure its your plug and not just discharge.
Yes that can happen throughout the pregnancy but the body can make a new one.
In the later stages of pregnancy, yes it can
Maybe you are losing your mucus plug
The mucus plug can be lost several days, or even a week before labor starts, so not necessarily.
well, your cervix is closed when you loose your mucus plug. When your mucus plug comes out, that means that your cervix is starting to deface and dialate.
As soon as possible, as losing your mucus plug can be fatal within 24 hours.
if your looking to lose your mucus plug to start labour, this may not happen as you can lose your mucus plug as little as 26 weeks and not go into labour. i would highly not advise you to purposely lose your mucus plug as it is what prevents bacteria getting to the baby!!!!!!!! let it happen naturaly its much safer for your baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Some women do depending on how sensitive their cervix is
Yes. Cause even tho you lose it most woman don't notice.
May lose it as early as one to two weeks before the signs of true labor appear or just as labor itself is beginning.
Yes, that sounds like it, it is usually mucus with old blood mixed in, hence the color.
Yes, I did with my first baby. I was waiting and waiting for that mucas plug to fall out until one night my water broke. Came as a big surprise but I preferred it that way. No thinking oh it is almost time, IT WAS TIME!!
as soon as you lose your mucus plug you should go to the hospital cause the baby is on its way
