Publix does rehire employees who, for various reasons, have had to terminate their employment. In many instances, the former employee might be rehired for the same job, a new position, or part time again. The needs of the store come first of course, but it is to the company's advantage to rehire a good employee that has experience.
No, PUBLIX is not a "job." Publix Food & Pharmacy is a grocery store chain, with supermarkets located across the Southern U.S. (Here's a cool fact: PUBLIX headquarters are actually located in Land O' Lakes, FL, which is a couple of miles southwest of Orlando.)
Additionally, if you want to work at Publix Food & Pharmacy, just ask the manager for an application at your local Publix Food & Pharmacy, fill it out very quickly, and turn it back in to your manager, and hopefully, you'll receive that position at Publix Food & Pharmacy as soon as possible (ASAP).

It's a possibility, but it ultimately depends on the reason for termination/release. I worked with that company for almost 6 years and never had any issues or discrepencies with my performance, but when my car decided to crap out and I couldn't make it in, they suspended me and let me go in the middle of the suspension. They said they wouldn't even think of considering me again for at least another year, and a slim chance at that.
It can't hurt to at least call a local store and talk to one of the managers about it.
If the employee was terminated "for cause" (for doing something wrong), then it is unlikely, but not impossible, that Walmart would rehire them. If the employee was terminated because of a reduction in staffing ("downsizing"), it is much more likely that Walmart would rehire at a later date.
You would not be able to be rehired after being terminated for a no call/no show.
I was terminated for employee theft can I get unemployment benefits?
An employer cannot say you were terminated, but they can say you are not eligible for rehire. Texas is an 'at will' state and can fire you for any reason.
Sure, if they want to.
You can be terminated for actions that discredit the postal service.
Publix is proudly a Private / Employee owned company. Stock can only be purchased by employees.
An employer has a duty to inform the employee of an changes to the employment terms. If an employer is out on workers' compensation, and they are terminated, the employer has a duty to communicate that information to the employee and pay that employee any money they have due to them.
It's doubtful. Most companies will not rehire someone they've fired. It could depend on how long ago you were terminated and why you were terminated, i.e. what was the nature of the "mistake".
Publix was founded in 1930 by George W Jenkins.
