There are six species of sloth. The species and their conservation statuses follow:
Three-toed sloth (Bradypus torquatus): Vulnerable
Pygmy three-toed sloth (Bradypus pygmaeus): Critically Endangered
Pale-throated three-toed sloth (Bradypus tridactylus): Least Concern
Brown-throated three-toed sloth (Bradypus variegatus): Least Concern

Hoffman's two-toed sloth (Choloepus hoffmanni): Least Concern
Most species are in trouble, due to loss of habitat in their rainforest home.

The Maned Sloth.
A sloth is very slow when moving in the tree tops. So slow that many sloths have algae growing on their fur, and making them look rather greenish. When a sloth comes (rarely) to the forest floor, they have difficulty in crawling, and are especially in danger from predators. So, I suggest that to expect a sloth to walk 350 miles would take several decades!
