No, Inverness (57.42 N) is a bit further north than Aberdeen (57.15N).

But perhaps more importantly they are in completely different parts of the North of Scotland - Inverness is just over 100 miles from Aberdeen in a westerly direction.

Access to Aberdeen by road or rail is up the east coast, whereas road and rail services to Inverness travel northwards cross country from Perth.
