There's no difference as long as you are taking the degree from a regionally accredited college or university. In fact there is no mention of whether the degree was taken online or ground approach, on the diploma, or transcript. The only way someone would know, is if you volunteered that information. As I said, just make sure you are taking the degree from an institution that has a regional accreditation. There are many excellent colleges as universities that offer degrees online today. I would not let that be a consideration. I have worked in higher education for 26 years, so this is not coming from someone with little or no experience in the field.
