Is applying for too many credit cards bad for your credit?

YES,YES, YES. Don't go down that road. The interest rates are too high and if you can't make a payment then the interest rates co crazy high. I know this from personal experience. Please don't fall into the belief that you have to use credit cards. If you don't have the money for something then you probably can live without it. If you need money for something, then go to your bank and talk to a loan officer. Do not go to one of those payday loan places either. Your bank will help you with what you need. I said need not want.
