No. Schwarzenegger served all but 10 months of California Gov. Gray Davis' term after he was recalled in a special election in 2003. Then in 2006, Schwarzengger was re-elected to a full, four-year term. He is unable to run again because of term limits.

Not sure when this question was asked ... but a Governor cannot run for a third term of office even though Schwarzenegger's first term was only three years (due to the 2003 recall election). He could run for Senate, but he has said that he has no plans to run against Barbara Boxer right now. He is a public servant more than a politician.
