When water boils, it is a physical change.
a physical change
because the water is still water just the appearance of it has changed. It is also known as a phase change because the boiling is just a phase once it is off the heat it will be normal water and if you freeze it it will become ice, but once you leave it out again its just water. Nothing has been added to it so therefore how can it be a chemical change.
If you really think about it you cant get the water back after it was absorbed because you can not collect gas or gather it up to be water once again.By:jariver dunlap.
It is a physical change because no new substance is being formed. It is still H20 and the steam when condensed can be reversed back to water. :)
It is a physical change. The molecules themselves do not undergo any change. They just gain more energy.
Even though some of the H2O is changed from liquid to vapor, it is still H2O.
physical, reaction based on environmental change, not chemical
It's a physical change.

Physical
Water boiling is a physical change and not a chemical reaction. In a physical reaction there is no new substance formed as is the case with chemical reactions. In boiling water there is no new substance produced.
This involves a change of state of the water. Before, during, and after the boiling, it remains water. So, since the substance doesn't change its character, the boiling of water is a physical change.
Boiling water is physical change.
Boiling and evaporation are physical changes.
Physical
Boiling water is a physical change because it does not change the chemical composition of the water.

It is a physical change. All phase changes are physical, not chemical. The chemical composition of water does not change when it changes from a liquid to a gas, or for that matter, to a solid.
cold water heating up to its boiling point a physical change or a chemical change
Boiling is a physical phenomenon, a change of phase.
a physical becauseb it does not effect the chemical make up
