if it coming right after the heavy bleeding that you had after having the baby, then yes. it simply means you are healing the way you're suppose to. blood or lochia will go from bright red, to brown, to light yellow, then to white.
It is normal at the beginning of a pregnancy to have discharge. Don't be too alarmed unless it has been going on constantly. I would suggest if it continues to go in to the doctor. There is the sad possibility of a miscarriage but I'm no doctor so get it checked out.
Generally its your body preparing itself for the big day, its your body telling you bubby is on its way! They usually call it the "bloody show".
Its totally normal.
Best of luck congrats.
sometimes it can be but i would get it looked at.....
You are spotting brown because the fertilized egg borrows into the uterus to attach. Some woman may also have a pinkish tint of bleeding.

that means you pooped your pants.

One week and one day from your ovulation day ? Then it can be implantation spotting! That is a good indicator that you have conceived! One week and one day pregnant? Please contact your midwife if you are spotting when pregnant, although it might be harmless it is best to ask a professional about it. All the best to you!
You can still be pregnant even though you are spotting and loosing blood clots.
If your spotting one day, then get your period the next day, that would indicate that your are NOT pregnant...

im 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant and about two days ago i had a gush of watery blood and then brown spotting after that. i called the doctor scared but they said as long as it didnt happen more than once and the spotting is brown you should be fine. if it shows your baby is fine then you shouldn't worry. from what i have read and hear spotting is common and even some bleeding can be fine, not always, but in any case you should report to your doctor. good luck.
Brown color spotting during the first trimester could be due to implantation bleeding, this is normal. There are many reasons why brown spotting may occur, many of these reasons are perfectly normal. However, it is always a good idea to check with your doctor, just to be sure.
