I would assume so. But as we all know (of course this depends on if you are using the show Addams Family for your example), the capitalization of family is due to the fact that The Addams Family is a title, and the only words that are not capitalized in titles are of, the, a, and, or or just about any 3-letter word that is not a proper noun that occurs in the middle of the title. I.E: "Legacy of Daemon" <-- notice, "of" is not capitalized.
