Religious Division is something that we face today, but we were most definitely warned about. It's not what God wants, but he did see that it would come.
1 Corinthians chapter 1 talks about religious division a pretty good bit; " Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you........... (basically all of that chapter is speaking about religious division)
Also, Romans 16:17 says that when one causes religious division, you mark and avoid that person.
2 Tim Chapter 4- Timothy's order is to constantly preach the world because there will be a time when people don't want a true doctorine. There will be many teachers (one can go on to interpret preachers and even churches) because people want to be taught what they want to hear. It also says that people will turn their ears from the truth and turn to fables.
Duet 4:2- Don't add to or diminish from the Bible. (Read it like it is, Preach it like it is, and obey it like it is) Don't take something out if you don't like it and don't add something to it if you think you can make it better. It's written the way that God intended for it to be written and it's not our place to change it.
Eph 4:3-6. Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one spirit even as ye are called in one hope of your calling. One Lord, one faith, one baptism.
