Coal mining is a dangerous job in the coal mines, as you see by the devastating explosion just recently. Coal also produces many harmful gases into our atmosphere, so renewable resources are safer for people, animals, the earth, and everything!
no it might explode
The advantages of coal are that it is fairly cheap to purchase and the Earth still holds large reserves of coal, at least compared to oil and gas. A lot of our infrastructure is already set up to use it. Being solid it is easy to store, and because it's not easy to ignite it's also safe to store. Another benefit coal has is that other materials can be made from it, for example fertilizers, paints, and plastics.

The main mission of the Coal India Company is producing coal in a safe working environment . Focussing on conservation and quality while being careful of the environment .
I don't see why not. They used coal in the old cookstoves in the "olden" days.
Charcoal would be much safer. Coal contains many chemicals besides carbon, some of which can be problematic.
Coal can be easily mined and burned, whilst to use nuclear fuel requires a lot of scientific effort to make it safe
It can make very dirty so there is no safe water
unsafe cause it lets out greenhouse gases
No not at all of course you could lit the house on fire.
The danger of using coal is not that we are going to run out of coal, but that we are going to release vast amounts of carbon dioxide and other incidental pollutants into the atmosphere, causing an environmental catastrophe, which will come long before we actually have no coal left to burn.

It depends what coal mine you go to. If you don't go to one in the wilderness or on a pvp world it is relatively safe for most players. There is a possibility(depending on which coal mine you go to) that there are aggressive monsters that may harm you. If you see something that is attacking you then it would be smart to run away.
