Is diabetes a transmissibles disease?

Answer:

No, diabetes is not catching. Diabetes is caused by either your pancreas not producing insulin or by your body not utilizing it's own insulin properly. There are different types of diabetes and therefore the treatment may range from mere weight loss to needing to take insulin injections. All diabetics need to eat a proper diet which should be discussed with a diabetes specialist, get daily exercise (walking is great) and obviously one needs to take their medication be it pills or injections, and monitor their blood sugar closely checking it when they wake up, prior to each meal, two hours after each meal, and before bed.

Diabetes is a lot of work, causing you to monitor your diet, activities, exercise, and self awareness of your bodies needs and condition, but it is a desease that you can live with and once you learn more about it and how your body will respond to different foods and situations it will become easier to control.
