DialAmerica phoned me and offered a renewal of my subscription to the Pastel Journal magazine. When I asked if my subscription was about to expire the salesman said "yes". So I accepted the offer and was sent a snail mail form to return with a check.
I wrote to Pastel Journal and inquired whether this was a legitimate offer. The Journal has a page devoted to companies which are not legitimate and will scam you.
The reply from PJ was:
"Thank you for your email. DialAmerica is a third party agency that sell subscriptions to magazines. You may renew with them or you may renew directly with us."

My only complain is that the salesman was untruthful and my subscription does not expire until 10 months later.
