Fasting to lose weight is not good for anyone, as soon as you eat normally again you put all the weight back on as your body has gone into 'starvation' mode. It is particularly bad for a young person who is still growing.
You have to balance your height against your weight and 180 pounds may not be too much weight for a tall muscular 12 year old.
See a doctor and/or nutritionist to work out what weight you should be aiming for and work out a sensible eating and exercise plan.
Don't forget you are still growing so you need plenty of protein, but you also need whole carbs in the form of wholemeal bread, pasta and brown rice, (NOT, cake, candy, cookies and chips). A certain amount of fat is also required to make use of fat soluble vitamins.
If you are hungry eat an apple or a carrot.
