From the fact that it has protein, it does have food value. There are many nutritionists that would agree that the saturated fat that accompanies meat. especially red meat is unhealthy.
Another thing to consider is how it is prepared. Grilling beef causes carcinogenic compounds to form because of the high temperatures, and they have been known to cause cancer. Grilling other meats like chicken and fish is safer.
I would suggest that if you ate fillet mignon on occasion, even grilled, it should not be a concern. As they say, 'everything in moderation.'
