It is not a logical comparison between the two. Graphene is a material, meteorite is an object, that is made up of different materials. Graphene can be formed into shapes that will be incredibly "strong" in terms of being able to resist applied force. Meteorites, by contrast, spend most of their existence as a conglomerate body of different materials in a matrix hurtling through space with no applied force other than the friction of photons in the aether. Up to the point of entry into the hellish blast furnace forge of an atmosphere as they count down to contact with another heavenly body and reverting back to a smear of material in an previously alien setting, with no "strength" other than the atomic relationship of molecule next to molecule, subject to the various laws of physics.

If the question is whether granite is harder than diamond, the answer is no. The hardness scale for minerals is called the Mohs scale. Granite is a rather general classification for an igneous stone that consists of varying amounts of quartz, mica, gneiss, and feldspar. The hardest of these (quartz) rates at 7 on the Mohs scale; the average hardness of granite is around 6.5. Diamond, on the other hand, is the hardest of stones and measures 10 on the scale.

Yes graphene is a new two-dimensional material what is the hardest and thinnest material known to man also it can conduct electricity 100 times faster than silicon in computer chips and much much more it really is a wonder material so yes it is harder than diamond.

NB: Natural diamond is the hardest natural mineral known. As well, hard and strong do not necessarily equate.

What is the world's strongest material?

Diamond! is the common answer Graphene is the real answer and it's 200 times stronger than steel

What is the strongest meterial on earth?

the strongest meterial on earth is graphene. it is multiple carbons formed together to make an incredibly strong carbon stronger than dimond itself.

What is the hardness of graphene on the mohs scale?

graphene according to how much it can hold (calculator) and how dense it is.

What is the density of graphene and carbyne?

Graphene aerogel - 0,16 mg/cm3 (7,5 less than air) Carbyne - 3430 mg/cm3

What is a graphene filter?

Graphene is a sheet of Carbon atoms, or one layer of Graphite ("lead" in a pencil). A graphene filter is a filter made of graphene.

what are Graphene Dispersion?

Graphene is an atomic-scale honeycomb lattice made of carbon atoms. It is the world's first 2D material and is one million times smaller than the diameter of a single human hair. However, it is many times stronger than steel, yet incredibly lightweight and flexible. It is electrically and thermally conductive but also transparent. As a single layer graphite, graphene has raised great interest due to its potential applications in different fields of material science for developing nanocomposites, sensors, supercapacitors, hydrogen storage, photonics and optoelectronic devices.

What are the properties of graphene?

Graphene is pretty amazing. An adequate description of the properties is rather long. There is a link below to the properties section of an article on graphene.

How do you write a sentence with the word meteorite?

"Meteorite" is a noun, and so it can be used in the following ways: A meteorite fell to earth last week. More than 90% of a meteorite's substance is rock. It would be very unusual for a human to be hit by a meteorite.

how about Graphene Sheets?

How does graphene form?

Graphene is formed by peeling extremely thin layers of graphite off of a larger piece, in the original paper published on graphene it was done using tape.
