Both these drugs are powerful and the difference between them in minor when compared to their over all effects. However Heroin is unquestionably the more powerful in all attributes especially in its ability to produce a feeling of Euphoria and in the severity of its withdraw pains.
In the early twentieth century one treatment for heroin addiction was to get the subject addicted to cocaine first (to cover the heroin withdrawal pains) and then cure them of the cocaine addiction.
