high school musical 3 is on DVD.
High School Musical 3 will open in theatres October 24th of 2008, although it is rumored that there may be midnight showings.

It is in Utah. The school is East High School & its not the "wild cats" like in the movie; The mascot is the Leopard.
I think maybe for kids,but not for adults.
