I got a job in a local company by applying and adding my Hill university degree. So I would say that yes it is recognized by employers. Online universities need accreditation to be recognized. An accredited university degree is accepted everywhere. But if you are in some foreign country or other region your local laws may require you to get your academic credentials verified by the university that issued them, after that these credentials will be acceptable abroad too.
