It doesn't seem like they enforce the law against hitchhiking in USA. But if you're caught hitchhiking in Ontario you have a $50.00 fine. If you're caught hitchhiking in Prince Edward Island you have a $50.00 to $100.00 fine. You can go to prison for hitchhiking in these cities.
