Generally eating spices is considered to be a healty thing. Hot spicy food is reportedly good for general health, so long as the spice benefits are not offset by the food being high fat, high salt or high calorie (as it frequently is in curries). So it's not realistic to use "but it contains spices!" as a excuse to eat unhealthily.
However to experience any real benefit from eating spices (i.e to ingest a statistically significant level of the active ingredient in the spice likely to give a benefit (or side-effect), the spice in question would have to be eaten in an unrealistic quantity; usually over 4 of teaspoons of the spice per day, depending on what the spice is). So eating hot spicy food does not contain enough 'spice' to actually have an impact on heart function, either good or bad.

They don't like spicy, sour, or bitter foods. They love sweet foods, but it's bad for them just like candy is bad for people.
It all depends on if your having a good or bad trip and the spiciness of said food. If its a good trip then it will just seem much hotter than usual. If its a bad trip than you will thnk your mouth is literally on fire!!
It can be bad for you but taste good... It depends on how much you put in your food.
Non-vegetarian food can be just as good or bad as any other food.
