I have contraction like cramps,and I just found out I was pregnant, but a good idea wood be to take a HPT to determine the pregnancy,If it says negative and you still haven't started your period wait a week and try again, if you still haven't contact your doctor.

∙ 18y agoI don't know much about this sort of thing, but I have been told that while you have your period, and even while you don't you can get cramps. It may be that you are pregnant, but also could be something else altogether and nothing to do with pregnancy. It is normal to have cramps similar to period type pains during early pregnancy, It could also be a sign of ovulation depending on which days in your cycle you are on
