Is it best to take laxatives before or after you eat to get the food out? |

Answer
Well hello "toe tag!" because that's what is going to be on your toe in the morgue if you don't smarten up and stay away from laxatives! All you have to do is go onto www.google.com and ask "What can over-use of laxatives do to a human?" if you don't believe me.
Go on the South Beach or Weight Watcher's Diet. You will lose weight. Also, cut-down on your yeast intake that is in breads, sugars (break-down and form yeast) and lowering your yeast intake will shed the pounds quickly. You should 3 1/2 ounces of protein at every meal, fruit, veggies, poultry, fish, red meats if you like. Grains are good for your colon.
If you continue to do what you are doing your body will begin to feed off itself and trust me, you'll end up in the hospital and if you've done it for months to a couple of years it could cost you your life!
It's your choice ... a good diet that makes sense with 8 - 8 ounces of water (to flush out toxins and fats in the body) and exercise or that toe tag!
Neither
Laxatives are for constipation, not weight control. You NEVER take laxatives to "get rid of" food you've consumed. That's NOT what laxatives are for.
Laxatives (or cathartics) work primarily on the large bowel, after most of the nutritional value -- including caloric content -- of the food has been taken out through the process of digestion. Taking them for weight loss, therefore, is not very effective and has all sorts of bad side effects. I suggest you seek counseling.
