- CNA, you get way more respect. MOAs are basically secretaries that take blood pressure.

Alright above is the previous answer, which is Bs and false; difference between a MA, RN, LPN, ETC.. is they can do everything a CNA cannot do.

Difference how - CNA is a Medical Assistant's slave, however Medical Assistants dont just do Vital Signs, we can do shots and everything LPN or RN can do. How I am a Medical Assistant.

CNA's actually less respect than anything else

want to know more go to ur local ER and check it out. Working in a medical office can be both challenging and fun. The great thing about being a medical office assistant is that healthcare jobs have grown throughout the recession and are poised to grow further as the recent health insurance law kicks in! In other words, the field offers job stability. Medical office assistants work the front end of the medical office. The greet clients, check Ids, verify insurance, set up referrals, and sometimes assist with billing.

Many years ago I worked as a registered medical assistant and from what I was told, the registry is national and accepted by all states. The medical assistant that is certified has a certificate from a particular state. All trained medical assistants possess the same type of education. I schooled in Colorado and worked in Arkansas and Ohio, from what I can tell the salary rates are not based on what type of certification you have, but largely on the area that you live in and the need for that position.

I am a dental assistant. The pay is similar to medical assistants, but slightly better. The catch with my trade is that you can request more per hour depending on years experience and certifications. You can't do that being a medical assistant.

Always better to be certified than not. You will have much better employment prospects being certified. More employers will definitely prioritize those applicants and workers (in case they are affected by the recession) with the right certification. Even though they may have to pay them more, they are more worthit to have in the payroll

What is the difference between Certified Physician Assistant and Registered Physician Assistant?

Basically, what you are asking is whether professional certification is the same as registration. The answer is yes.YES! In principle, being certified is the same as being registered. In both cases, a person must pass a standardized certification exam to document their theoretical knowledge of professional skills. By passing the certification exam, the professional has proven their knowledge in their field, and earned the right to use a specific credential such as MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician), or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant).Usually, the only difference between the credentials is that they have been verified through different certifying bodies. Some have chosen to grant a "registered..." credential, some give the "certified..." credential, mostly to distinguish one from the other (e.g. Certified Medical Assistant, vs. Registered Medical Assistant). However, both are certified as such. For more on medical assistant certifications, and what they mean visithttp://www.certmedassistant.com - Advanced Medical Assistant Career Guide.
