No, it isn't dangerous. What you take to soothe your cough may be dangerous. Before treating yourself, check with your doctor. Typically, throat losenges are okay and over the counter Tylonol cold (again, talk to your doctor first).
It can be if it is severe enough, be just the common cold is nothing to worry about. Obviously staying healthy is the best bet but sometimes that is not always an option. As long as you do not become severely sick you should be okay. If you need to go the doctor be sure to tell the nurse and the doctor first thin that you are pregnant and tell them how far along you are. You do not want to receive any vaccinations or take any prescriptions that could harm your baby or put your pregnancy at risk.
It's a not a pregnancy sign but just as when you are not pregnant you can get cough or a cold.
Not particualrly. I'd talk to a doctor before taking any type of medication though. The baby should be about due at forty weeks!
You should see your family doctor. Four weeks is a long time to have a cold with a cough. You could have pneumonia.
Pertussis (whooping cough) can cause serious illness in infants, children and adults. The disease usually starts with cold-like symptoms and maybe a mild cough or fever. After 1 to 2 weeks, severe coughing can begin. Unlike the common cold, pertussis can become a series of coughing fits that continues for weeks.
You may have a cold
It could be, but not necessarily. Coughing is more likely due to a cold or flu.
by coughing in someones face
Todays date is May 17th 2011. I've had my flu shots and when I saw the doctor about this cold I thought I had (3 weeks now) I was told it's a virus. And that it is spreading around the U.S. like crazy. I have friends in Alaska with it. First it's a sore throat, then coughing with Flem (called productive coughing), some puking for others (not me yet), night sweats, then back to coughing extremely (unproductive dry coughing) and headaches......that's where I'm at right now. My doctor said it takes 2 to 8 weeks for full recovery. Good luck. I hope that helps.
The reason that you are coughing out blood when you cough hard is because when you cough hard, you damge the veins in your lungs which release blood, and as the blood needs to gos somewhere it goes out your mouth when you cough. I suggest not coughing so hard if you can or taking antibiotics or peniccilin to help relieve your cold.
If your a women it could mean your pregnant I had this when I was pregnant,it's the strething of your skin and the thinning of it causing less blood flow the that specific area it's not dangerous just a little itchy i had no stretch marks at the site either, hope this helps
i have got a cold and i am getting over it but when i was coughing a got saw lungs
the symptoms for a cold are headaches, stuffy nose, and coughing.
