Is it illegal to lie?

No if we need we hide the truth... but be honest....so only we get a lot

It depends upon where you lie. If you lie on the witness stand or while under oath you could end up in jail. Lying on government documents can also lead to criminal penalties. Lying on school and job applications can lead to other penalties.
