Is it legal for a car dealership to not charge interest?

Answer

Absolutely!! No law against that - it's their own pockets that are not being filled with money from your wallet, so it's their loss and their choice.

Some car loans are set up 'interest free' - however, read all the printed language including the fine print ... some may have a deadline date that all payments must be completed by in order to qualify for zero interest.
