Sure. The increased levels of progesterone have slowed down your digestive system, making everything move through it more slowly. This means, unfortunately, more bloating and gas, which makes your tummy hard. I had it really bad my first few weeks pregnant, and am still waiting for it to go down. I hear it's supposed to turn into a baby bump one of these days...

A friend of mine had a similar thing, she thought it was normal which it usually is, but found out she had Placenta Previa (I think that's what its called). Definitely get it checked out.

The spotting is always cause for concern. Get in to see the doctor any time you have spotting while you're pregnant. Pain in the lower abdomen can be serious but it can also be pulling ligaments. Again, see your doctor if you have any questions.
