Yes this is normal. There is a thick mucous plug in your cervix while you are pregnant. A few days or weeks before you deliver, as your cervix softens and you begin to dilate, this jelly like plug will fall out.

∙ 14y agoYes it's normal! I am going through the same thing and my OB told me everything is normal! It's just your body's way of telling you you are ready for labor even though it may still be weeks or days away!

∙ 14y agoI would talk to the doctor to make sure but it really sounds like your losing the mucus plug which happens before you have the baby. It could be weeks before you go into labor still but your probably losing your plug. Good Luck!

∙ 13y agothat sounds like the "plug" which covers the neck of the womb. This is often a sign of labour about to start but it would be worthing check with your midwife if you're not sure.
