Is it normal that I'd prefer being with my girlfriend then calling her on the phone or talking to her on face-book and skype and when we do talk its silent and boring. am i losing interest?

First thing most of the relationships these days are dominated by technology and conversation online do lack facial expressions and body language which are integral components during face to face conversation. However, in this case I do not see the relationship of boyfriend or girlfriend with attachment. It is either the relationship on the verge to breakup after having certain level of emotional connectivity or it is still on the way to reach that level of relationship where boy and a girl tend to share happy moments together.
