Is it normal to have white bits that look like pieces of skin in your urine?

Answer:

Answer

It could be an early form of kidney stones. Calcium is white. It may be tissue flaking off from a fissure.I don't think it's normal anytime your urine isn't clear. See your OB-GYN, or call his office and ask to speak to his nurse and save an office bill. Nurse here. Now will you help me change my spark plugs? Good luck.

Answer

It is possible that you have a vaginal yeast infection. In this case the white flecks would be joining the stream of urine externally. A Gynecologist could quickly see the difference.

Answer

After seeing white flakes in my urine and experiencing flank pain and then making 2 emergency room visits, I finally got an ultra sound scan. I had a GOLF BALL sized stone sitting in my gall bladder. One month later I was in the hospital having surgery to take out my gall bladder. So if you are having a multitude of pain in side, back, shoulder, under right ribs and see flakes in your urine, it sure could be your GALL BLADDER! Get it checked immediately and if like mine, get it taken out before it kills you.

Step one is to have a urinalysis. Your regular Doctor or Nuse Practitioner can do this for you.
