Is it ok for an 11-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy to have a special relationship and is Christmas a good time to say you love her? |
Anytime is good. Just remember not to be to forward, and find somewhere private....like under the mistletoe.;)
I am a full grown married adult that came across this question when trying to find out what to get an 11 year old girl for xmas. I remember what it was like to hear my mother tell me that "you don't know what love is at years old" and I swore that she was wrong. Now that I am older, I still hate that answer. I believe that you can know what love is at that age. The emotion is still there and very real. What you DON'T know at that age is mature, enduring love, but let's be honest - neither does the other person that you are saying it to. Since you don't know the difference, what you feel is very pure, so I say go for it! But as far as a "special" relationship, I don't condone anything, so if "special" means unusual that you could find love so young, then yes, it is possible. If you are talking about more mature acts - stay away from it...

do you really know her? are you just saying that because everyone else tells each other they love each other? think about it. do you love her and want to be with her forever? thats what love is. think about it and don't rush it.
Answer
In my opinion, i believe it is perfectly normal for a 12-year-old and an 11-year-old to have a relationship. As a matter of fact, i do something like that now. Around 11-13 is when these feelings begin to appear and I think that someone should be able to tell someone how they feel about them. However, i would suggest nothing too serious, like for example, kissing. Perhaps just a hug when you see each other. Remember, your feelings may be strong, but keep them under control. And about Christmas, i think that would be a very good time to tell someone how you feel, as it can be a very romantic time of year. Good luck.
