Is it ok to put a wheat bag on your stomach when your pregnant?

I have been doing a fair bit of research on this subject and there is no definitive answer. Generally the consensus is that a wheat bag should not be placed on the stomach but can be used to help alleviate other kinds of pain. Most commonly Back pain.
I have read one blog where a woman was using a wheat bag on her tummy to try and turn her baby round but I would not recommend it.
When using a wheat bag common sense is the best approach. If you are already feeling hot don't use one, the important thing is not to raise your body temperature or your blood pressure. Use it to ease back pain, aching calf muscles, shoulder pain etc. Don't use it continuously i.e. keep reheating it and use for several hours as it is not good for the skin and lessens the pain relief effect.
