Some doctors think an occasional glass is okay; some do not. I myself occasionally sipped wine while pregnant, and my child is perfect. But when you look at pictures of children with birth defects caused by alcoholic mothers, it makes you think twice.
some people say that but what people don't think about, when pregnant ANY alcohol from a sip to a glass of wine can cause birth defects! my god son was determind that he only had three fingers on one hand when born was because of an alcohol intake which she had never told the doctors about, and she had a half a glass of wine at her baby shower because her mother told her she did it and nothing ever happen to them!
Different countries say different things different years lol but half a glass of wine wont hurt. Here in Europe they've told us that a pregnant woman can drink half a glass of wine a day without to worry. And that means the regular size glasses not the jumbo wineglasses some ppl have.
A half glass of wine or beer is perfectly fine with your dinner. Not every day, of course.
Half a glass of wine wont hurt but not actual drinks.
not really, I mean like a glass of wine now and there wont hurt. but if its dealing with vodka, rum, ext. then no its not safe for the baby.
Wine every now and then.

We now know that light drinking during pregnancy, especially during the second and third trimesters, does not pose a risk to the fetus but does promote the woman's health. Alcohol and pregnancy do not mix, if mental retardation and still births are appealing to you, down it mama
it isn't. wine is still alcohol.
yes, it can. That's why doctors advice you to not drink while pregnant. But to be specific it can cause complications during the pregnancy stage and or while giving birth.
Generally wine remains safe to drink for a long long time. If it has not been properly sealed, the alcohol will gradually turn to vinegar. It tastes horrible.
Any alcohol should be evaporated while it is cooked. However, consume it in small amounts.
You should never drink any amount of alcohol during pregnancy. Drinking even very small amounts of alcohol can cause birth defects, miscarriage, and FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome).
