Answer:
If you are a Christian, you will want to do what God wants. Why would you be tempting somebody else to do wrong? (if that is what you mean by tempt.) To witness to others, we must first be pure ourselves. That comes by truly wanting a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and simply expressing to Him you want him to come in your heart and make you a brand new person. When you have this thirst for God, He will fill you up. there will still be hard times, no doubt, but the empty feeling that EVERY person who isn't a christian (even if they don't admit it) has, will no longer be there because God has been placed there. So, assuming you already are a true christian, you must realize that actions are what draw people to wonder about what you believe in. God says we should be holy and upright and be good witnesses to others...that certainly doesn't include tempting other people to do wrong. You should want to bring other people to God like you have been brought to Him, yourself. The only way to show God's love is to act it out in your own life. Don't bring people astray from God - that is Satan's job and believe me, he is always at work at it. If you are a chrisitan, satan should be your enemy. Why be on his side and tempt others to wordly things when there is something so much better, loving, accepting, understanding, compassionate, graceful, powerful, and truthful that longs for everyone elses heart to love Him back? John 3:14 - "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that who so ever believeth in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Would you give up your own son out of the love of all the people who despised you? Probably not. God's love is everlasting and beyond what we can fathom. Think about this :)
