Is it possible for an adult to grow thinner?

Answer:
typical maturation growth begins at the end of late child hood or the middle of adolescence typically boys and girls end their growth cycles at the end of adolescence; depending on what the age of onset puberty was.

While adults do not typically "grow thinner" they are able to reduce their fatty tissue with proper rest, diet, and adequate exercise, depending on their rate of metabolism. that and tone their existing muscle tissue.

So in conclusion adults can loose weight and tone their bodies but do not technically grow thinner.
