exess nitrogen will produce fast and soft growth which will probably collapse under its own wieght, at higher levels the exess nitrogen turns toxic and the new leaf tips will turn brown. at even higher levels all plant tissue will be affected and the plant will die.

exess nitrogen can turn to ammonia as well as other nitrogen based molecules and produce said toxic effect

Plants need nutrients but nitrogen can kill it. People say that if you put fresh manure fertilizer it can "burn" the plant its true. Sometimes it does nbut it depends on the size of the plant.

yes because nitrogen can explode and make the plant suffer, and make it react so it will grow weirdly.

Plants need nitrogen to survive. However, they do not give off nitrogen. They give of oxygen and take in nitrogen and carbon dioxide.

What would a control be for a experiment to see whether fertilizer helps a plant grow?

answer: compare a plant not given fertilizer to a plant given fertilizer..

What would be the impact on the nitrogen cycle if there were a decrease in decomposition in the given ecosystem?

The impact on the nitrogen cycle if there were a decrease in decomposition in a given ecosystem wouldn't be enough nitrogen to return the atmosphere. Photosynthesis is the process by which plants convert carbon dioxide into energy rich carbon compound.

What would happen to animals if all of the nitrogen-fixing bacteria in soil and plant roots was killed by pesticides?

hello

How is nitrogen -15 isotope different from a nitrogen -9 isotope?

Nitrogen-15 would have 8 neutrons, while nitrogen-9 (if it existed) would only have 2.

Would a house plant survive if it were only given water by spraying the leaves with a mist?

Generally, no it would not be able to survive solely on misted water. Unless the ground around the base of the plant is misted much more often, the plant would most likely shrivel up, and die.

Where on earth would you find nitrogen?

You can find nitrogen just about anywhere. Nitrogen makes up more than 75% of the air we breathe, and is also a constituent of every living cell, whether plant or animal.

It worked by gowing a root plant in the field that would be fallow which would release nitrogen into the gound

Is the topic 'Music's effects on plants' a experiment or demonstration?

This would probably be an experiment given that there is no generally accepted result from playing music to a plant. Of course research design would play a hefty role in whether it's a valid experiment.

What would happen if all the nitrogen fixing bacteria disappeared?

Life dependent on plants would die. The nitrogen fixing bacteria change nitrogen into a useable and they have a symbiotic relationship with plants. Plants need the nitrogen to synthesize amino acids. Without being able to synthesize amino acids, the plant would die and the other organisms dependent on it would starve/die off.

What would happen if water is not given to plants?

the plant will eventually die
