yes, it is but you wont be able to play the burnt games on the xbox, unless its modified. and by the way i think its better to buy an "evil chip" for xbox. It saves all the games that you rent on the harddrive so you dont need to buy any. It only costs about $60 in Canada. search for it on ebay if interested.
