Answer

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!

I have two words for you...... Fruity Booty. I ate an entire bag of it and it had 6 or 9 grams of fiber per serving. I was SCREAMING in pain all night. I was too embarrassed to go to the hospital, so I suffered for an entire night.

Do not make such a foolish mistake! Eat appropriate portions!

Another Answer

Those who eat a Western Diet -- high fat, moderate to high protein, high processed food diet (French fries, hamburgers, sodas, etc.) -- usually do not get enough fiber. It is recommended that we eat 25 grams of fiber everyday to maintain good digestive tract health. If you are eating the low fiber Western Diet and all of a sudden jump to 25 grams of fiber, then you may experience stomach cramping and lots of gas. If you are interested in increasing your fiber intake, do it gradually. Add a couple of grams once or twice a week. This will eliminate or minimize the cramps and gas and you can eat healthy.

I wish you well!
