If you take a picture, then you can upload the picture as your wallpaper.

Set a wallpaper by going to settings>wallpaper Choose a pre-installed wallpaper or choose one from your photo library. On 4th gen, you can also set a separate wallpaper for the home screen. When you jailbreak your iPod touch, you can download winterboard themes to also change icons, battery icons, the dock, the lock screen, and much more.
Update to iOS 4.0.1, then go to wallpaper and change lock screen wallpaper and home screen wallpaper. It wont work for iPod touch 3g and under and iPhone 3g and under because apparently it will slow it down all the new features.
Yes, Just go to your picture, click "more" then click "assign" then click wallpaper
You can easily change the wallpaper of your Motorola Cliq XT, using live wallpapers or from the Media Gallery. First, on a blank area of the CLiq XT's home screen, touch the screen and hold the touch until the pop-up appears labeled, "Add to Home Screen." Choose the options labeled, "Wallpapers," and from the pop-up window labeled, "Select Wallpaper from," choose from where you will select your wallpaper. For live wallpapers, find the one you want and tapping it to choose the option, "Set Wallpaper." For the Media Gallery, open the photo folder with your chosen wallpaper in it and then tap the photo you want to use. Crop or resize as needed, and then choose, "Save," and your wallpaper is set.

Upgrade to iOS 4. It's free. It won't work if you have an old iPod Touch (before September 2009) or any 8GB iPod Touch. You'll need to jailbreak to get wallpaper.
no.. you can't... but you can change the sensitivity of the touch screen
Because the outside has put one touch screen panel, so then any LCD/LED can change as touch screen.
it seems as tho only 3g ipod touch/ iphone 3gs only gets wallpapers. when you updated there should of been a default backgroud. other than that go to settings>wallpaper>set wallpaper and you will have the option to set home screen, lockscreen, or both
Go to Settings>Wallpaper>select the picture you want>select "Home Screen".
You can infact change any LCD screen to a touch screen display. If you wish to use the touch screen as a display and input device you must install other software on your computer to recognise the touch screen input.
Go to "Settings" then "General" and find "Wallpaper". You can then choose from pictures saved to your device or one of the pictures that comes loaded on your iPod Touch by default. ---------------- or for on the menu you need to jailbrake it (heres how) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0v91MIepB0 then go to installer ( you will need a wireless connection) and install sumerboard themes then go to smb preferences and go to themes and choose your theme And you can go to this site to get more details about how to change the wallpaper on your iPod touch, and you can also get much more iPod touch wallpapers, including babe, movie stars, animal, nature, and abstract images. http://www.pavtube.com/free_resources/how_to_put_the_wallpapers.html Hope this can help you much!
