Safe, as in you're not going to electrocute yourself, yes.<br />

But, the amp will be able to put out more power than the speakers can handle, so don't turn the volume up all the way or you will fry the speakers.

If you used 4 ohm speakers instead, each speaker could be given 200 watts at 40 volts, resulting in severe overheating and damage to the amplifier.

just to be safe i would change them all. If one of the other caps breaks it could leak onto the board and fry it.
