Yes. It is made from pasteurized milk, so it is fine to eat.
Actually this isn't true....... its got nothing to do with if a cheese is pasturised or not its got to do with its moisture content. A hard unpaturised cheese is perfectly safe to eat whilst pregnant. Any soft cheese regardless if its been pasturised or not is not recommended because the moisture breeds the bacteria. Its not the cheese that is the issue its how its stored at home and the unwashed stuff that's in your home fridge that makes the cheese a magnet for bacteria. This is fact and even the medical profession advise women wrongly. Try going to Waitrose and speaking to the cheese specialist, who have qualifications in the cheese industry they will give you the correct advice.
I would think so unless there is a bacteria in the cheese.
Yes.
Unless you have an allergy to the contents in the dip, Yes.

is it safe to drink tiger malt while pregnant
Provolone cheese is safe to be used during pregnancy.
Yes as long as it isn't soft, white moulded, blue or made from unpasturised milk.
Any cheese cooked is perfectly safe to eat whilst pregnant, regardless if its pasteurised or not. Hard unpasteurised cheese is safe to eat uncooked too, its got nothing to do with if its unpasteurised or not the question is if its soft or not. The bacteria grows in the moisture of the cheese, when you take it home its the other bugs in your unwashed salad etc that uses the cheese as a playground to grow and fester. Medical staff are ill advised and if in doubt you should go to Waitrose and speak to the cheese specialists who are qualified within the cheese industry to advise you better. so to sum it up you shouldn't eat soft cheese pasteurised or not but hard its completely safe.
