Perms are fine. There is no evidence to suggest it harms the baby. I was bleaching my hair and everything when i was pregnant and she turned out fine.
NO IT'S NOT FINE! Your hormones are changing. It could cause your hair to change color (to something horrible) or the perm might not turn out right. But most importantly those chemicals are horrible and just as back as cigarett smoke to breathe in.

∙ 16y agoI've been googling around on this question. Lots of people are frightened by it, but the doctors who answer say that it is safe. The exposure to the chemicals is only for an hour or two. People working with solvents constantly and breathing fumes constantly can harm their baby (and themselves!), but a couple hours at the hairdressers is not going to give your kid birth defects.
