As sinus surgery is not an emergency I would put it off as the baby is just developing.
If you are going through fertility treatment and know the exact date of ovulation you can then know how long you have been pregnant down to the day. this is why Doctors say you are pregnant 38-40 weeks because often they do not know the exact date of ovulation or implantation. there fore you can know if you are 2-3 weeks pregnant. If you have had surgery before a pregnancy can be detected speak with you gynocologist about possible side effects. They will do a test before any surgery to rule out pregnancy. so if you test positive then they will not perform the surgey anyway.

∙ 13y agoThat has to be decided by your doctor. In most cases they do not like to operate while the patient has a sinus infection but it also depends on your age, the severity of the infection, how necessary the surgery is, and your overall health.

∙ 11y agoI jsut did and I am fine, but I asked the doctor befoehand. Check with our own doctor,Everyone is different, and all factors with individual his tory should be considered. Generally though, I would say yes it is safe because I am fine.

∙ 15y agoShouldn't you notify your doctor and ask him? Most likely you will be given a shot to put you to sleep. Your infection probably won't matter. He won't operate if it's unsafe.
