No! possibly/yes The Average Height of a 24 month old child is only 28 almost 34 inches (girl) or 2 feet 4 inches. about 2 feet 10 inches. Boys according to the cdc.gov growth charts are on average nearly 35 in inches at 24 months, so on average about 2 inches taller as an adult- 5 feet 10 inches.Some doctors/people say that: For Boys, if you mearsure them at 30 months and double the height you will have a better predicter of their adult height. the average height for a male 30 month old is just over 36 inches, about an inch taller than the average 24 month height, so a total adult difference of 2 inches. Substantial as an adult, yes, but it seems that it's just an estimate anyway, so take whatever child height worked best for you/your child and go with that one. Maybe the best approach would be to go with 27 months height!

-This is where my edits end. Another method to predict a child's adult height is to take the child's 3 year old height, add 22 inches and then multiply by 1.27. So if the child is 36 inches tall at age three, you would add 22 inches (58 inches Total) and mulitply by 1.27 giving you 73 inches or 6 foot 1 inch tall. The mulitply the 2 year old height, was taken from a study in 1950 that stated children reach 60% of their height by age three. Later people just said to doulbe the 2 year old height, which was incorrect.

Absolutely not. There is a bit of variation in the height of two-year olds, but there aren't many "normal" 39" two-year olds to give us six and a half foot adults. And, though someone 6' 6" tall is not all that common, there are a good handful around. A 39" two-year old is a rare child - possibly (but not necessarily) affected by some medical malady or condition.

Average height of a two-year old is something on the order of 34 inches as posted in a number of locations on the web. That yields a 5' 8" adult. Average height of an adult in the U.S. is beyond that at about 5' 10" for white and black men (with Hispanics being a bit shorter).

The 2 x 2 height calculator does not work for my family. My grandpa was 2'11 at 2, and now he is 6'6. i was 3'0 at 2. and i am 13 years old and 5'10.
