Yes,

Blue eyes are more sensitive to the sun. Also persons with blue eyes tend to be lighter skinned so they are physically more sensitive to the sun. My husband's family have a genetic tendency toward Albinism having 3 family members in 2 generations. They began with pink eyes (no pigment) and developed to very pale blue eyes with age. They are extremely light sensitive having to wear 100%UV block glasses (look like mirrored glasses or privacy windows on vehicles).

Why are your eyes so sensitive to sunlight?

Eyes can be sensitive to light due to medications that may be used. If a person has light eyes, they may have photophobia which is also a sensitivity to light of the sun. If you are sensitive to sunlight, then wearing a pair of sunglasses may help.

What eye color is most sensitive to sunlight?

Dilation of the pupil occurs when not enough light is exposed in the area. If plentiful light was to be exposed without warning, the reaction of the person would be determined by how used they are to light or how their DNA codes for it. This determines how sensitive to light they are by default. Eye color should not play a role in how a person reacts to light. Hope this helped

How do you describe sunlight?

Sunlight is part of the energy emitted by the sun. Nuclear fusion emits the energy as electromagnetic radiation of many different wavelengths. Our eyes are sensitive to a few of these wavelengths and we call this light. Light travels outwards from the sun and some of it reaches the earth. Some of it is scattered by particles in our atmosphere producing the ambient light we call daytime. We see objects when some of the light bounces off them into our eyes.
